Welcome to the National Audit Office (NAO) Procurement Portal

The National Audit Office (NAO) welcomes you to our procurement portal. From here, you can view all current procurement opportunities and register to receive notifications about future projects and tenders.

This portal provides a simple, secure and transparent sourcing process, supporting efficient engagement between the NAO and our suppliers. By registering, you will receive automatic alerts when new opportunities arise, helping you stay informed about potential work with us.

As the UK’s independent public spending watchdog, the NAO supports Parliament in holding government to account and helps improve public services through our high‑quality financial and value‑for‑money audits. We are independent of government and the civil service. The Comptroller & Auditor General (C&AG), Gareth Davies, leads the NAO and has statutory authority to:

  • audit and report on the financial accounts of all government departments and other public bodies.
  • examine and report on the value for money of how public money has been spent.

Our work supports the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), which uses our reports during evidence sessions on public spending and the implementation of government policy. The Public Accounts Commission (TPAC) oversees our governance.

We are guided by our 2025–2030 strategy, focusing on improving the productivity and resilience of public services and strengthening financial management and reporting across government. By working effectively with Parliament and our stakeholders, we aim to maximise our impact on trust and value for money. Further information on the NAO can be found here at https://www.nao.org.uk/

Good procurement practice and contract management are essential to supporting our mission. They ensure we secure value for money and uphold the highest standards of integrity, fairness and professionalism in all our supplier relationships.

We encourage suppliers to register on this portal to engage with future opportunities to support the NAO’s important work.
